Crews responded to the fire at an apartment complex and business on Townsend Street in Pepperell on Monday night, March 6, according to the Pepperell Fire Department on Facebook

Pepperell Fire said everyone living inside the complex made it out safe and there were no injuries. Everyone was displaced but had other places to go, Chief Brian Borneman told Daily Voice.

Virginia Fernald's aunt lived in the apartment complex and came home to find her home on fire, according to a GoFundMe campaign.

"Almost everything from her apartment is gone, including memorable family pictures, her furniture, and her cat, Mr. Mushroom," the campaign reads. "We are asking for all the help we can get at this time."

Brian Maine, a freelance photographer, and his girlfriend Amanda Sciuto lost their apartment and tons of precious equipment in the fire, according to two more GoFundMe campaigns

"Billy and Amanda are some of the kindest people I know," one campaign reads. "If you have anything to spare, I please ask that you donate to help get them back up on their feet."

Meanwhile, Owner Malisa Mignosa lost her business, The Beauty Bar Hair Salon, in the fire as well, according to a separate GoFundMe campaign. People interested in donating can click here

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
